Yup you're right there are some knocking, sign of detonation but I just used higher octane fuel from unlead to blaze.

You guess it right ha ha, nope actually, I used three bond liquid gasket. But you must check that the mating surfaces dont have pits or uneven surfaces. The torque is the same.

Yes you have to do some mods on the pin, some fabricated bushings will do. I cant remember the pin dia I think its around 13mm.
