well, why buy regular unleaded gas if there are much better gas available. the higher the octane rating, the better it burns. it means more power. the price of regular unleaded gas is not that really low compared to v-power.

I will use V-Power from now on

My BMW X5 uses it because all the other gas stations such as petron the feul guage goes from full to half in like 200km, i was going 240kph

the higher the octane the better the burn. just gotta tweak and peak the performance based on your fuel. enjoy!

ok, to answer your question, No Using Shell V-Power will not damage your engine. why, if you have ever looked at the color of the gas from different gas stations you will notice that there are different colors. when i worked at an small airport not far from me, i learned that if there are additives in the gas then it's not good for the over all engine. yes the additives will give performance, but!! they will stick to the heated metal of your engine and carb and that will cause air disturbance and or clog parts of the engine that are vital to almost perfect running performance.
From what i learned is you want to use a gas that is natural in color which is Blueish, Not red, or purple. as for my experience, i have tried Caltex high octane fuel and i noticed that my engine has less performance, and after checking my carb, it's intake color was redish. i use Shell V-power most of the time, i also learned that you shouldn't always keep running the same octane all the time so from time to time alternate from V-Power 95 octane to premium 93 octane.

anyways this is my personal knowledge from working with airplane engine and fuel mixtures. hope it helps.

ride safe yall

v-power is colored bluish. the octane rating here in the philippines of v power is 95++. so far its the best fuel I have tried on my bike and still using until now. The owner of the shell gas station near our house gives me freebies if they have on going promos. hehehe. because I'm one of his loyal customers.

but the price is a little bit higher than ron97 fuel....definitely satisfied with this fuel...even ducati bikes have stickers that written "POWERED BY V-POWER" i really want that sticker!!!! :p

I only out shell vpower in my 135LC ever since I got it september of last year 7000kms now no problemo, sometimes i have to go with js super unleaded when the station is out of vpower but its fine too. Vpower burns faster than regular gasoline so it does give u a bit of a better kick. but i just use it coz its d best gasoline available for our motorcycle

As a rule of thumb, Normal good gas is Bluish in color. If it's not bluish then it has additives in it. I Prefer V-power over any other fuel. except Shell's Racing fuel. But it's hard to find.and expensive.

i agree with you guys, as nowadays engine design are high heat resistant not like before they dont recommend high octane gas cause this will damage the engine due to high heat.. .

Are you out of your mind kid? It is very hard to believe that you did 240 kph here in the Philippines. Even at BRC. If you did that in UK, how in the hell did you drive that fast if you are still a kid? You don't even have a license kiddo.. Snap out of it!
