ok, to answer your question, No Using Shell V-Power will not damage your engine. why, if you have ever looked at the color of the gas from different gas stations you will notice that there are different colors. when i worked at an small airport not far from me, i learned that if there are additives in the gas then it's not good for the over all engine. yes the additives will give performance, but!! they will stick to the heated metal of your engine and carb and that will cause air disturbance and or clog parts of the engine that are vital to almost perfect running performance.
From what i learned is you want to use a gas that is natural in color which is Blueish, Not red, or purple. as for my experience, i have tried Caltex high octane fuel and i noticed that my engine has less performance, and after checking my carb, it's intake color was redish. i use Shell V-power most of the time, i also learned that you shouldn't always keep running the same octane all the time so from time to time alternate from V-Power 95 octane to premium 93 octane.
anyways this is my personal knowledge from working with airplane engine and fuel mixtures. hope it helps.
