About the fuel we are using..

Up for this thread!. I think all big 3 Fuel Company here in philippines have e10. For now what is the best to use?

it seems that everybody here is using shell v-power but i don't know why mine is used to caltex gold. i tried those but i feel my engine coughs and weaks. any reason?

anu ba tlaga pinakamagandang gamitin sa sniper naten?lahat kc ng fuel me negative feedbacks, una gmit ko shell unleaded tas switch to petron xcs pero sabi me e10 na rin ang xcs ang blaze nman daw di required sa stock engine, anu ba tlga? nakakalito ah. mga papa na alam ang psikot sikot ng gaso anu pinkamaganda tlaga gamitin?

some of petron gas station has E10, "SOME" eventhou i have been using XCS and GOLD still. keep safe

just from what i know about ethanol on gasolines, it is a solvent that eats rubber, it melts rubber (gaskets, o rings etc..), our bikes are ethanol ready so no worries to that, the problem here is that ethanol is hydroporic, it attracts water, our carbs have a fuel reservoir, any fuel that has ethanol on it attracts water so if theres water mix in the carb as well as on the gas tank, thats when you hear the engine cough and sputter, thats a fuel mixed with water in the engine...worse is that water corrodes the metal part of the engine, specially piston rings..in fuel injected engines, the story is different..

- petron blaze user, no e-10..i think most of us are using this..

but now, blaze has 100 octane rating. has bad effect on my bike.. hard starting in the morning and the engine easily gets hot.
