I install the rtd-LED and converted my headlight and parklight to battery operated the way you have said unfortunately all my LED peanut bulb (parklight) was busted "kaboom"..Bakit kaya? pati yung LED backlight ng panel..
hindi papa @john_carlo.. dati xang stock nung mag tap ako sa brown wire at idisconnect yung dilaw n may touch ng red..ayun naging battery driven na nga kaso pinundi lahat ng led parklight ko..hehehe
YUng lang nmn yun dba?yung yellow/red wire n supply galing magneto ididisconnect?tpos magtatap sa brown wire na galing ignition papuntang switch on/off ng parklight/headlight..Correct me if im wrong..

No need to put relay bro, Just connect yellow wire to brown wire then disconnect yellow going to stator ( yellow wire at headlight cowling).

No sir, i just pulled out the yellow/red wire and covered it with electrical tape.. and i tap from the brown wire on ignition to supply the headlight and parklight from battery...
Check your charging voltage bro, it should not exceed 15volts even at high RPM.
My share.. This is my version of changing auxiliary lights to battery operated and maintaining the stator operation for the headlight..

Your understanding is right bro @ross42102 that the diagram is for AHO because that's the only clear copy of diagram that I have..
But If you've also noticed, I've modified the diagram and reflect the headlight/aux. switch to make it not-AHO which functions not only for the aux light but also to operate the headlight on/off.. See the connection from HL switch feeding power supply to the relay..

You're correct sir..I already understand the connection sir when i saw the picture that you posted too...It find to me confusing the diagram that you revised because of the terminal connection in the switch assembly....
Here's my observation sir in your picture attached:
- When I switch on the HEADLIGHT ONLY, the power from Battery Operated Switch Assembly from Connection B to C from the picture will charged the relay and it will make contact from the initial terminal connection of a normaly open to normaly close terminal and do so, the Stator will supply power to Headlight Bulb what on the Connection A to D explained.
- And if I switch on now BOTH the AUX light and the headlight in the SWITCH ASSEMBLY, the same sequence and principle from Item #1 on the headlight BUT, the aux light will light-on from a battery operated power supply hence that we already cut-off the Y/R Wire from stator ang connected it to BROWN Wire. In this manner the power sequence is, the battery charging the relay for headlight w/c explains in ITEM #1 and the same time also, it supply power to all Aux Lights(BLUE WIRE).
Therefore sir I conclude, SWITCHED ASSEMBLY retain its the same functionality. NO SHORT CIRCUIT will happen coz the relay now separated the Stator Powered Headlight Terminal Line & Battery Powered Aux Light Terminal...... ***NOSEBLEED

but you cannot switch the headlight only because typically this is the sequence of our switch.. The system is already battery operated and we use the relay to utilize the stator power for the headlight only.. Nice Job bro @ross42102 !!

1. OFF
2. AUX only (Park light)
3. AUX + HEADLIGHT

Actually it's the same sequence with the switch operation of Sniper Classic..AW!!!!,,,,I already forgot the sequence of switch operation coz i dont have my MX beside me to checked the switch operation when i replied in your Thread...My bad and sorry....
Anyway thanks for the reply sir @bhek_21 and your mods is very good coz we dont need to add an extra switch anymore if we will add LED lights for our aux light...
