phl6684 bro, i got a question for you, when you installed the new exhaust, and you installed the larger main jet / pilot, did you compensate with the needle setting? in the carb?
let me explain,
i upgraded my main from stock 105 to i think 107, but i didn't upgrade my pilot, I kept the stock exhaust for a while, but in order to have the engine run right, i had to re-set the needle set setting from the middle link to the top link. then, the bike ran good. but idle was a little higher. i got and installed the NOB 1 AL, and i forgot to re-set the needle set setting, i was having a lot of trouble at higher RPM, it would bucking and burping, and sometimes a choke sound. so today i opened the carb. again and re set the needle setting to the middle, re-adjusted the a/f and tested the engine, my result is better running and lower idle. i haven't been able to test for higher RPM yet because i want to change oil and plug first.
So my question to you is, when you changed all the jets and a/f, did you ever check the setting on the needle set?
It's all about getting the setting to work for you. yes it is a pain in the as* (donkey)!, but keep playing with it and you will work it out.
ok bro, peace
