Top motorbike rider killed in Clark crash
MANILA, Philippines - One of the country's top professional motorcycle racers was killed after he crashed during the UKB qualifier race at the Clark Speedway Racing Circuit on Saturday, an initial report said.
Maico Buncio suffered serious injuries and was brought to the intensive care unit of the University of Sto. Tomas hospital.
Buncio, the official Philippine representative to the Asian Road Racing Championships (ARRC), was a 4-time national superbike champion.
He died on Sunday despite efforts of doctors to save his life.
