Top speed anyone?

Dear Traxxas,

I didnt realize because no other vehicles around me. Is it the speedometer is lighter than other vehicles?? When i ride around 60/80 kph, it seems likely still about 40/50kph.. huh..

Well different from other bikes/brands here, T135 have the least speedo compensation. So when I ride at 80 kmph... I feel like I ride 90/100 kmph on other bikes... 60kmph is fast enough on city road

1st gear = 0-60kph ?!
2nd gear = 60-80kph ?!

as for me,

1st gear = 0-20kph
2nd gear = 20-40kph

did u guys DRAG your gears along and FULL THROTTLE all e way??

nope, if I open full throttle, I wouldn't get 40 kph on 1st gear... just open throttle regularly but hold until 40 kph :D
If you want to be more succeed, try to open your air screw 1/4-1/8 more, you'll get 40 kph on 1st gear without screaming engine noise... but with bad mileage of course :D

Guys, this sound right to me.. Bkes I tested have similar gear/speed as these.. Only that the top speed can drag higher then 115kph in most cases. Atypically 120-140kph.

The reason why the 4th gear loses power is because of the overly tall 4th gear. If you change the 4th gear to a lower ratio, its much easier to hit the topspeed yr final drive ratio is geared for.

I believe that its true. Cos 170- 180kph on the same gear ratio/ final drive ratio/ rim size as the other regions' T135 is simply too drastic. It takes krazy rpm to reach 170-180 (real)kph if the abv mentioned remained constant!

open the air screw?? u mean to let in more air to burn?
haha.. noobie.

btw guys..

my fren did not install back his air filter element and now his bike, according to him, feels slower and therez like something wrong with it. throttle not as responsive as b4.

wat could have happened??

The jetting's too lean due to the extra air input but short of petrol going in. Bump up both the pilot and main jet. Experiment to find out by how much. typically 1-3 sizes common.

it's too early 4 cylinder scratches...
it should be on a long term effects...

unless zamron always ride on a dusty conditions..
very dusty...

try jetting your bikes..
follow what stroker says..

I'm in Viet Nam , my exciter 135 ( look the same Spark 135 in Thai ) my max speed :
Gear 1: 0 - 40 km/h
Gear 2: 40-85 km/h
Gear 3: 85-110 km/h
Gear 3: 85-120 km/h

If the bike with 135 cc like this but the mas speed is not make the biker .. satisfied. When i ask some one in Viet Nam they said that when inport to some country that requested low speed - So the CDI must be re-programe as per the import side.

Woh ! I need some help to get the true speed of the manufactor ! Can you help me please :cry:

yup! i'm sure it will help u alot.

aftermarket CDi will help in a way that it will de-restrict ur rpm.
in another words, u can drag the bike longer and u will b able to attend ur speed faster.

a lot of the riders here in S'pore have installed them already and they are satisfied!

of coz thats the role CDi play. if u want any faster, more mods to other engine components..

Hi guys. Newbie here in Thailand. I just bought my 'Spark' 135 and just hit 1000 kms to get an oil change at the dealership. They had given me the regular Yamalube. First I want to know, is Yamalube any good? In Thailand the choices for good quality oil are terrible! Second I want to tell you my speed on:

1 gear: 0 - 40kms/hr

2 gear: 40 - 80kms/hr

3 gear: 80 - 115 kms/hr

4 gear: 115 - 145 kms/hr

Quite fast and what an adrenaline rush! Cheerz y'all.
